A New Beginning and my first work to the word

Today's date already to late
You reading my blog and Welcome!

I spent days trying to figure out what my 1ooth post was going to be on but by an error The saddest song in a long time seams to be my mew century as it were.So this is like a new beginning for my blog if you look at it in a certain scene.
To begin this new counting of time I plan on starting it with some of my work after a brilliant idea from my brother, whose advice I should listen to more often. I created this seance just from a thought I've been having lately. What the story is or how it may fit is yet to be told.

A sword. Just a sword. It hadn't belonged to a great master or slain the dragon. It bore no ancient runes or jewels. The sword was just the average sword given to a foot solider who was never any different from the sword. It was beyond his knowledge how the sword kept him alive after the 3 days the Pendragon Fortress had been under siege. Dirk ran a cloth up and down that sword and that sword made him think.
The Sword was with him in the heat of battle where he had seen his comrades fall. Dirk saw the look on his commanders face when devastation over took them and the fled back. He remembered well the battle cry's of the enemy wondering how on earth he would survive. His dreams of Knight hood fled.

All the Dreams of glory fled. When the knight who charges into battle was every thing a man wanted to be, the hero of the story. Many a time he had thought about being the Knight who leads the Brigade to battle and victory. There was just something there. An indescribable heroic feeling of honor. . But now he was the knight up against the dragon and had seen no honor and glory like in those old tales only mindless war. A hero's welcome would mean nothing to this.

Dirk saw no point in this. Surrender would make much more seance. No he had something to do.
He could not let these barbarians sit on the throne, overtake his house his land.NO! Dirk stood with a great thought.

This is what the old stories meant. The knight who leads the battle should be honored however not for the battle for non can come but he should be honored because he was able to take the sword and go through hell and back for his land, for his family, for king, for country, for every thing he loved. It does fill you with a indescribable felling.
And that is why war brings great heroes.

Nice. I never actually think that way...maybe I should. When I think, it's usually something really random.

P. S. I've passed the New Century post a while ago...oh, well, there's still the New Century II post...
